This award is aimed at high growth potential businesses that have received Angel and VC backing to enable them to successfully scale-up. The business should have received investment in the past 18 months and the investment could either have been Angel and VC co-investing in the same deal, or could be VC following on from angel finance. The award is open to businesses that operate in any sector.

Nominations for this award must demonstrate that the business is innovative and has the capability to disrupt the market or industry and must clearly show that the investment has facilitated the scaling-up of the company. Both the business and the Angel and VC investors should be identified for the award. The angel finance could come from either an individual or group and the VC finance could come from a VC/PE Fund, Co-investment Fund or VCT.
